THE Ranoadidas.com eighth year anniversary celebrations, "Ran8adidas", officially kicked off yesterday with a grand affair at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas, inviting the public to take part in the various games and activities to commemorate the festive event.

The anniversary celebration is held in conjunction with the eighth Consumer Fair organised by Sunlit Advertising Sdn Bhd.

Present to grace the ceremony as the guest of honour was Yang Amat Mulia (YAM) Pengiran Anak Mujaa'bah Safauul Bulqiah who was accompanied by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Abdul Mun'im, daughter and son of Her Royal Highness Princess Amal Rakiah.

In his welcoming speech, Rano Iskandar, founder of ranoadidas.com, thanked all readers for their support throughout the years as well as the sponsors of the event.

Those in attendance then were entertained with a number of short performances by Brunei Parkour and Relentless Entertainment that were followed by a cake cutting ceremony by the guest of honour and Rano to commemorate the milestone event.

To mark the end of the launching ceremony, Rano ushered the guest of honour for a tour of the main conference hall, for a closer look at the numerous booths set up and activities conducted by the participating exhibitors during the event.

Throughout the celebrations, members of the public can take part in a host of interesting activities. One of the highlights is the Red Bull Carnival Challenge where contestants will battle it out to achieve the best time to complete the various challenges and obstacles which have been set up at the venue.

On the weekend, B-Mobile Communication and Relentless Entertainment will be holding their first audition for this year's "Who's Got Talent". Those interested can make their way to the B-Mobile or the UBDFM booths for an audition.

For those who have a big appetite, Kapow Burger and Kitaro Japanese restaurant are inviting them to take part in a food eating competition today and Sunday from 3pm.

In commemorating Ranoadidas.com anniversary, @Bruneitweet and @UBDFM are hosting a Twitter Hunt competition where the winner bring home a brand new Galaxy Tab. To participate, just register at UBDFM booth prior to the competition.
